A survey ran by the American Prosperity Foundation on 2,000 middle-income families in 2015 indicates that more than 68% of the families do not have a trust set aside for their surviving relatives. As found in the survey, the reasons that families do not set aside a trust are as follows –
- Didn’t consult in detail with family planning experts on what the family trust is.
- Didn’t believe that it has to be done immediately but it can be done later.
